Coldplay must've learned a thing or 2 from Lake Trout, and is making plans to release a live album for free this summer.  The band wants to give the album away to fans attending their stadium shows in September.

"We're playing a lot of shows in the summer and I think what we would like to do is - bearing in mind the recession we are in - record the live album then give it as a gift" Martin told The Sun.
